Kealaaumoe Stibbard
Veterinarian
Dr. Kealaaumoe Stibbard was born in San Jose, California, and raised between California and Hawai’i. From a young age, she was drawn to animals and science, aspiring to become a veterinarian, marine biologist, or forensic scientist. Her path led her to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical training at The Ohio State University.
Her veterinary interests include small animal internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and client education. Dr. Stibbard also has a special interest in equine medicine. She is passionate about animal welfare and advocates for the protection of Hawai’i’s open spaces, serving as a board member for Friends of Kewalo.
Dr. Stibbard has lived in California, Hawai’i, Ohio, and the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and Nevis, where she adopted her two beloved cats, Dill Pickles and Ipo. Outside of veterinary medicine, she is an avid water enthusiast who enjoys outrigger canoe paddling, surfing, kiteboarding, snorkeling, and open water swimming. She also finds balance through hot yoga and CrossFit.
What she loves most about being a veterinarian is the opportunity to combine critical thinking, compassion, and continuous learning to help both pets and the people who care for them.
