Ednee Yoshioka, DVM, cVMA
Veterinarian
Dr. Ednee Yoshioka grew up in Mililani and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since middle school after caring for her guinea pig and rabbits. After graduating from McKinley High School, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science with minors in Microbiology and Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Dr. Yoshioka then attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. As a local girl, she knew she had to return to Hawaii after graduation and be near the ocean again. She has special interests in internal medicine, oncology, and integrative medicine, which led her to get acupuncture certified in 2018.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, hanging at the beach, canoe paddling, exploring the Hawaii food scene, playing video games, traveling, and spending time with her Border Collie (Lexie). Dr. Yoshioka is also passionate about marine life in Hawaii and works with the NOAA Pacific Island Fisheries Science Center, providing veterinary support to Hawaiian monk seals and sea turtles.
